Outstanding coin! And, as you know my wife and I started a 2002 World Birth Year set for our little guy so feel free to send it on my way as we don't have that one yet! Don't worry about the dust as I see it all the time and no matter how hard one tries the dust always seems to win! Thanks for the photo!

Hi Terry Umm I could send it along to you along with the other 23. You could have them for free but you do not want to know what the shipping and handling fee would be

That is truely a remarkable coin! Don't need 23! Just one so I will have to start my search or at least put it on my never ending list of foreign coins needed to relocate to Indiana!

I have asked every one I know and no one is willing to part with theirs if they Have one. You might try writing to Alderney Post Office 55 Victoria Street, Alderney, Channel Islands GY9 3UF. Fax +44 01481 82 3790 - Telephone +44 01481 822644 E-mail: alderney.post@virgin.net They sell direct to the public and may have one or two left. there are less than 3000 people on the island so chances are the post master will know if some one there wants rid or theirs. Hope this helps

Richard, Do you know the total number of different coins (or even countries minting coins) minted for her jubilee worldwide? Which one is your fave? Are you collecting just proofs of circulation coins? Beautiful coin. I like the Canadian 50c which had her portrait from her coronation image-is that in your collection- if so, post it! Thanks, Don

Hi Don I would love to Collect all the Golden Jubilee Coins but I have to eat every now and again. The Set I have was around 50 Pounds a coin. Every country in the British Commonweath issued at least 1 coin in Proof and Unc for the Jubilee (I say issued but The Royal Mint made them) I do not have the 50c you are talking about but I know the one and its on my wish list. My favourite one wich comes close will be Coin 8. Taking Pictures and posting takes me a while..

Looking forward to seeing them. My one attempt at coin photo taking was unsatisfactory and I haven't tried again- so I understand! Don

Richard, Much as I enjoyed sharing everyone's Oohs! and Aahs! I would rather have seen the pictures of the coin itself. I wondered why I couldn't; then inspiration struck! I viewed the source of the page, and found that the first of your images had been saved at http://bobby131313-trading-assistan...dsc01217.jpg. But when I opened that URL with IE, I got the message that community coins now has its very own home, etc. So it seems that although the messages have moved across to the new domain, some of the linked material - including your pix - hasn't. Any chance of your reposting the two pix of this coin?

I have repaired the broken link. Older pictures on the forum may not show up since the move. As I find them, I'm fixing the links to reflect the new coincommunity path. Just email me with the thread name if you come across any more. It only takes me a second to fix. I couldn't fix Stujoe's in the Favorite World Coin Design thread because he didn't host them here. CP (where he had those pics hosted) has also moved. I emailed him about those.

Thanks, Richard, you just enjoy your Trinidad holiday (sob!) - Susan has already repaired the broken links (thanks, Susan!).
Must say the obverse is stunning. No, I wouldn't touch it either to remove the dust. How about blowing gently from a can of compressed air?
