Hi all again,,,, I upgraded my resources and finally got my self Breen's Encyclopedia and Cohen's little sisters :) Great books,
Even though this one is really rough, there is enough left to say in my opinion that it is a C-3..
Obverse Small high 6
Reverse 6 berries left, Stems, the A in America is slightly above A's arc line,

The uneven height of the letters in CENT certainly pin this reverse down as the one used on Cohen-2 and Cohen-3. Wish we had some of the letters of LIBERTY to distinguish between the two obverses, though. The angled pic may confuse things here.

The C in America on the reverse says C-3 to me,,, Looking at pictures of both side by side,, I noticed the top end of the C on the small high six is thicker, also the tips on the last outer leaves are not pointed and do not curve upward as seen on a c2

Just noticed something else on the obverse, On the C-2 Liberty's lips are slightly parted , on the c-3 they are touching .

Reverse is right but I think this is a C-2, the point of the 6 is too far from the bust. On C-3 it almost touches the bust. On this coin it is clearly separated from the bust.

I know the eyes sometimes see what they want to see ,,, but I still see c-3,,,, the tip of the 6 just touch's the bust,,, in the C-2 there is a larger gap between,,,
also on the reverse I see a light crack though the tops of IC in America as seen in Die state 2 on C-3
I'll try and get some better pictures up
Thanks to everyone for spending some time on this :)

Hi all,,, Took a long break from working on this one but now I finally think I have it beat :) Got a pic of the die crack , its a crack through ICA to border. Its really faint but its definitely there. First pic is my coin, second is from Breens's Book die state 2 coin.

Just to be clear to everybody, the reverses of Cohen-2 and Cohen-3 were both struck from the same die. The later die state with the crack over ICA, however, is only seen with Cohen-3. Hard to find a good pic of a high-grade example to compare it well, though.
