Thank you, Tim.
I am a little confused when referring to 'Proof'. I am still in the learning stage. I'm looking for an album that will fill the P, D and S mints.
What are 'Proof' coins. Are they coins with the 'S' mints?

Again Thanks,
mila_

Proof coins are made at San Francisco thus have a "S" mint mark. The term "proof" refers to the method of manufacture not the condition of the coin. If you have a " Red Book" there is a section that explains proof coins.

Proof is a method of manufacture...very much like circultion style coins are manufactured in a cirtain way. Proof is not a grade....hope that helps

hey mila,
i have a 7103 that has room for the S mint Lincolns, since the SF mint hadn't started solely producing proof type coins at the time. so mine has slots for all normal, circulation type wheat ear lincolns, I believe.
