I've been surfing ebay - finding all sorts of prices. Best prices each seem to require buying 100's. Not sure I want 250 at one time.
Another thing: I've measured envelopes I've received with coins, and the size doesn't seem to jibe with sizes listed on ebay. How are these bubble envelopes measured? Inside available space?
Thanks

This is the best price you would ever get for a quantity under 100: 50 for $8

http://www.ebay.com/itm/35060895127....m1423.l2649

(I honestly don't know how they make anything selling them for 15c each minus fees.)

That is a good price for under 100. If you like the kraft paper style of bubble wrap you can get them off of Amazon in boxes of 250 for $29.89 (that's about 12 cents each).

I buy the bubble envelopes (various sizes) and bubble wrap at Walmart. I can see exactly what I need and I don't have to buy hundreds that may lay around for a long time. Walmart sells them individually and in small packages of 10-20. They also have a few different varieties.

In Australia, most postal packaging products are commonly available in the retail shopping part of the Post Office premises, as single items.
You buy the exact number of them that you might need, be they envelopes, mailer bubble packs, mailer boxes or whatever.

The Royal Australian Mint also uses the Australian Post Office as an agency to sell their products. Selected Mint products are available in the retail shopping part of the Post Office. You can also apply for passports. Basically the APO is a retail outlet for other Australian Government agencies.

However I DON'T think that you could get a job application for ASIO* employment processed there!
*= Australian Security Intelligence Organisation. (similar to the CIA)

Doesn't the U.S. Post office system have a retail section? If they don't, they certainly should have to help boost sales, and get them out of the financial strife that they are in!
You can buy all sorts of stationery and computer supplies, books, DVD's and associated items in APO outlets. Oh, yes! You can also buy stamps, both for mailing AND collector issues.

Yes they do have retail sales for mailing supplies and they're actually pretty good (well stocked, neatly arranged, etc.). They aren't the best value though...
