Been busy trying to count all the Cuds on this coin?
The first thing that got my eye was the space between the reed & top of shield. Then the bottom of the shield. Cuds!!
Looking more closely, the Star and Reed look fatter, the Roo's feet many Cuds & the Emu's legs more Cuds.
The numeral 50 some more Cuds.
I have not seen a coin like this before Cuds everywhere?
I don't have an error name for this coin other than the (CUDDLY COIN). A very worn die maybe. Has anybody else seen this type of thing before? Thanks jpl..

That's a pretty nice example of a worn die. It also occurs on 2007 coins in an identical way, and to a lesser extent on the 2001 COA COF coin. Ever heard of Roozilla?

The right side of the Rev of the 2001 coin (under the emu) is also prone to having extra metal everywhere.
