i looked and I saw the doubled date but just pulled this out of a roll so havent dipped/verdi this coin yet let me know if I'm correct please

this one is without lighting and hides the verdi shows the 6 and part of the 8 well

I believe what you have is a non-collectable Die Deterioration or abrasion doubling. Check out the links at the bottom of this page: http://doubleddie.com/144801.html
I once found a 1939 that had the exact same thing.

looking at it on that site I think you might be right but just figured I would check ill wait for a few more opinions but I appreciate your time and the link helps a ton.
