I was given this detector, I have no experience in using a metal detector. Contacted Radio Shack for a manual, no longer available. If anyone has a manual or has basic knowledge to tell me the best way to use it I would be much obliged. ThanksZ, bob

To detect you should turn the left knob on as far up as you want your sensitivity to go and turn your left knob up. I turn the left knob about halfway. On the screen at the top it should tell you what the thing underground is.

What about the right knob/ What is Disc/Notch?
