Hi all,
I picked this up on ebay about a week ago for $2. Was I surprised to find out it was a doubled die. Now to figure out which one it is. Looking at the tops of the lettering around the coin it looks like the coin moved and left a sloped effect. It looks like some of the letters were doubled but was damaged when the coin moved. Just my guess. Would like to hear any opinions.

Best I can figure amac is that it is a type A reverse. Type C would have been nice. The letters in the word dollar also have similar doubling as the word quarter. Accidentally deleted the pics and haven't taken any more.
