Hi, need help in identifying these coins. Also would be nice if you could tell me around how much they are worth. Sorry for the poor picture quality. I'll try to post a clearer one if needed. First picture are the front of the coins and second one are the back of the coins. Thanks all!

Both coins are Roman silver Denarius. The first one looks like Severus Alexander 222-235 AD, and the second one is Septimius Severus 193-211 AD. They are both very nice ancient coins that have a value of between $30-$50.

Did you buy these in the PI? I wouldn't think there are many ancient Roman coin collectors there. BTW my wife is from the Philippines (Angeles City).

I bought it in Israel. My first purchase. I got it higher than the price you stated though. I really wanted to buy it and I don't know when I'll be able to buy one. Yup, probably not a lot of collectors of these coins here.

As a collector that is what I would be willing to pay for the coins. If you bought them from a dealer you probably did pay more as long as you didn't a lot more you did OK.

Found these links

On Septimius Severus Coins - http://www.time-lines.co.uk/septimi...22562-0.html
On Severus Alexander Coins - http://www.time-lines.co.uk/severus...22429-0.html

but none of these seem to compare to what I have. some of the front looks similar, but none of the back design are. I just really want to find out of the coins I got are legit. and how come there seems to be quite a variation on the prices? don't want to make it seem like I'm doubting what you said, but I'm just genuinely curious. thanks in advance! :)
