Looks like a different one.
The round top 3 looks OK this time.
Or perhaps it's the same dime but just reslabbed in a different holder, because it's his slabs afterall. (and a photoshopped '3').
I'm interested in what others have to say.
I still won't be bidding.

Yes DBM, but I'm showing it as a current auction, ending May 12th and bidding now at $330.

I wouldn't buy it even if I could at 50 cents on the dollar.

Mark on the nose also arouses suspicion. Either the same coin being resold in a different holder,or two fakes. Hope no member here purchased the previous one.

It IS the same coin!!
You're right....look at the mark on the nose.
Also, look at the staining on the obverse 'VICTORIA" by the top of 'A' and right under the 'T'.
Exact same coin......Hmmmmmmmm

It just goes to show us all that we should use our 'common sense'.
That is....why isn't such a rarity as this coin, in a top professional grading company slab? (ICCS, PCGS or NGC).
The reason should be very obvious to us all.
And my second point.....what happened to the high bidder of the first auction?

doubleeagle - thanks for bringing this to attention... I've been waiting to see buyer feedback on this item...
I agree this is definitely the same coin as originally listed...
I'm guessing the buyer didn't like it when he got it and returned for refund...
Used to buy a lot from CENTSLES never had a problem with returning coins for refund...
Interesting sidebar... a week after this one sold I had a guy masquerading as seller trying to scam me into a second chance sale on this one...
Anyhow... I still think that this is a genuine coin and with the pics presented this time it is no doubt a round-top 3...
Gotta' get to the hockey game...
Take care, and Have a Great rest of your Weekend!

The 1948 dollar that was sold at the same time as the first 1893 dime is relisted too.
My, my......what a beautiful selection of Canadian coins to purchase.

Probably to try and fool his customers into thinking it's another coin.

I've tried to magnify the '3' but it's very blurry.... I've compared this one to others that have been graded by PCGS and sold on the Heritage auction site and the '3' doesn't look the same when compared to the authentic ones.

Have been away fishing with SPP. There are many "re-tooled" coins out there. I need better images to be sure. 11 ft pole comes to mind here.
