When looking through my family's coin collection yesterday, I found a 1726 Russian square coin. I was wondering if it is real, what kind of coin it is, and if it is worth anything?
Thanks in advance!

square kopek coin of Catherine I. Whats the weight? That will determine the denomination of kopeks.

I don't have an electric weighing device so I can't be too exact, but it seems to be a little less than 2.5 ounces (2.4ish) or 70ish gram. Not sure if that is accurate enough. I could always buy an electric scale.
Can you tell from the picture if it is a counterfeit or not? Is it worth anything?

Thanks for the information!

How could I find out if it is genuine? I googled the coin and found a few like it, but the lettering on top is quite a bit different than mine. I am a little skeptical because it is still in such a good shape.
