My first lady Roman for a whole $8 Faustina II Denarius. 176-180 AD. Obverse:DIVA FAVSTINA PIA, draped bust right Reverse: CONSECRATIO, throne with scepter across it, peacock below & standing right. Trajan AE As OBV: IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P Laureate head right, Aegis on far shoulder REV: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI S-C, Roma standing with Victory & spear, captive kneeling before Galba Billon Tetradrachm, Alexandria. Dated year 1 = 68 AD. Obverse:LOUK LIB SOULP GALBA KAIS SEB AVT, laureate head right, LA (date) before Reverse: ALEXAN-DREA, draped bust of Alexandria right, wearing elephant's skin headdress. I am most excited for this one. I paid more than I wanted ($30) and it is pretty beat up but I have wanted a Galba tet for awhile and this will appease my appetite until I have the money for a really nice one Report this Post to the Staff

But I figured I should test some other sellers than my usuals especially and these prices are still low enough that I don't feel bad getting burnt a little if it ends up not turning out. The Galba appears to be a fairly well respected seller and is selling a lot of lower quality billon tetradrachm. If it turns out well I promise I will share! Report this Post to the Staff
