VAM-54 has nothing to do with a misaligned die; the fact that a die happens to be misaligned has nothing to do with the die states which are the defining features of Morgans. With that said, if there's one VAM-54 that happens to have been struck misaligned, it'd be reasonable to expect more of them unless they got the die corrected immediately.
VAM-54 is defined by the very near date location (your coin has this) and doubling below the upper crossbar of the 1. I can't quite see that doubling in your image, but that might be because of crud in the area. Check that closely, and if you see it then the coin might well be VAM-54. There are other Very Near Date 1900-O's, though.
