I also received my CP coin today. I'm not sure which version I like more. The lack of even a ribbon or slot to place the COA in the CP version is unfortunate. But the inclusion of the stamp makes up for it. One of the few good things is that I received a COA with nary a number four to be found anywhere.

Are you sure it doesn't say xxxx/14888?

Speaking of COAs, in my case the CP # is less than 8889 and the RCM is greater than 8888. The both show 14888 as the full mintage.

The Mint should have minted 13,888 coins or something like that instead of 14,888 so that not every COA has a number 4 in it. I know it's just total mintage, but why does it have to be 14,888 anyways?
Despite that, I bought one of each version and coincidently, I got lucky on something just right after the mailman delivered my RCM version. Makes me wonder sometimes.

I stand corrected . I forgot about the total minted number. I was just so excited that my own COA didn't have a 4 in it. Forget that the entire mintage has a four tainting all COAs.

I agree with Mrpiedfort, the mint should have minted anything but 14,888. Perhaps a total mintage of 18,888 would have been particularly auspicious

in Chinese, different words can have same pronunciation, 14888 means "good fortune throughout whole life"

IMO one of the best designed Chinese/Asian-themed coins from the RCM in years. Was going to say that too bad it's not pure silver, but considering the price that the RCM is charging for 1oz silver NCLT these days, I'm actually quite glad. Please, a silver plated lead coin next time

Bought 2 from CA, 5% tax and 5% discount, I don't think I will order coins from RCM any more.

it will be much better if this is a 5oz coin and mintage 888
