This was issued December 1917 in Desvres, Pas de Calais, France. Can anyone fully translate the initials for me?

B%$£"r!! My old eyes read the 2 as an E, must be time to clean the screen. I'd guessed most of the rest, but it's odd to think of a sports day amid the carnage of trench warfare.
Thank you Pertinax

Keeping the men occupied during a rest period is a great way to keep them out of trouble.
Having a sports day is a great way to raise morale and to divert the men's attention from the horrors they've seen/the atrocities of war.
I have WW1 British army prize medals from India, Egypt, and the Western Front.
They're a great bit of family/social history as well.

What a lovely design !
Though the figure in the foreground looks a bit crude.
It's not clear to me whether he's praying or sleeping.

I'd take a guess and say he's praying. Notice the rising sun on the left?
