Hi There, I don't know much about Australian Bank Notes. Just the basic's of it. My question is, I bought a 1992 $5 First Prefix AA Polymer note. There is a Date Stamp ( 7 July 1992 ) on there! I have seen other 1992 $5 Notes in First Prefix AA, without a Date Stamp on them. But I cannot find another picture of My Note with the Date Stamp on it? Little confused. Hope you can help me? Thanks jpl..

PS, I have the same Date Stamp on my 1988 $10 Centenary Note as well?

Sounds like they are both out of the commemorative folders.

Thanks Appleangle, I just found what you said they might be. The Note Set, had a last prefix cotton note, and the first prefix Poly note. With (green ink) Serial numbers.
Thanks for the Hint!!
Ps, Which Note is the more collectable. The split up 1992 $5 Poly with the (Date), or the (Undated) 1992 $5 Poly?
Thanks jpl..
