What are these two markings between the 6th column & Lincoln's right side?

If these were straight vertical I would've said column doubling... but here they come out at an angle.
And yes, they are raised.

Would you be able to tell us the mint of this coin (I assume it is probably a 2004-p), please? It would be even better if you could add an obverse photo. Thanks.

Yes, it is a P, Sudz.
As for an obverse photo, I will not be able to post it until later tonight.

Coinaki,

It may be the doubled die: 2004P-1DR-009

Check for markers here: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds . Note: Not all markers have to match, but if any or all do then you are more certain.

I am fairly new at this, so you might wait until and expert checks in for a more accurate assessment.

it is almost certainly the 1DR-009 listed at coppercoins. there are MANY doubled columns DDR's. you will find a great range of opinions as to the importance/interest level of these. I find them fun to search for and I save nearly all of them that I find. there are many minor ones that are too minor to list. I have saved many of the minor ones also.

yours appears to be one of the better ones. nice find.

Sudz, you are awesome! Yes, that's the one!

The funny thing is, I already checked last night on Wexler's database (doubleddie.com)and inadvertently clicked on the 2000P link by mistake. For some reason it did not occur to me to also check coppercoins.com.
(but then again it was about 3:00am and the brain mushed)

So then this would be my very first DD discovery since I started 3 months ago. WooHoo!!

They are the columns partially doubled. Thats one of the better ones I have seen with the 6th column doubled. Most are not that big...Congrats!
