I got some good replies here:

Like they say in there, if I were you I would have gotten a 0.01g as they are more accurate and not necessarily more expensive, but you might not need that.

I use a Triton T2 550G x 0.1G digital pocket scale. I picked it up on ebay years ago but it is a very good scale.

The question is what you want to weigh. My largest coin is about 90g so a scale that will take 500 or 1000g is not needed. On the other hand, light duty scales usually go to .01g for the same price so that made more sense for my uses. After all, I do own a couple coins under .1g so the extra digit comes into more importance.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah maybe I should have gotten one that is x .01g. All well they aren't that much dough. If I get a coin the weighs under .1 grams, perhaps I'll get the one that Marti recommends. Looks like a good one and US seller.

I highly recommend the
Frankford Arsenal
DS-750 digital scale
which is inexpensive, small, portable, and accurate to .01 grams.
It is billed as a "reloading tool" but can do either grains or grams and when you switch to grams it stays there. It is very consistent -- weigh a coin on two different days and you get the same result twice. I had a $140 digital scale recommended by CNG and after years its display failed. This is much smaller and more convenient. You could carry it in your pocket. It goes up to 48 grams, enough for almost all ancients except the very largest. I have tested it with scale weights and it is accurate. You can tell I really like it.
