Supposing a female president is elected, would she be on a coin since would be the first one of a historic event? Of course long after she has passed on.

I can honestly say that, woman or not, I don't want any more presidents on coins. I could see this as a nice commemorative however.

I don't want any more presidents either but it looks as if we'll be stuck with them for years to come.

Yes we are and just think, coming to a coin shop near you, Hillary (I really ran the White House) Clinton in gold! I find this gold First Spouse commemorative absolutely disgusting. Every time it enters my mind I want to go throw up!

I have to throw my Two Cents in here..! First off I don't think we have to worry about glamour coins. Hilary is as far away from glamour as a peanut is to the Starship Enterprise..! I would quit collecting coins if they added Bill to the first ladies gold set too..! If I had a choice I would vote for Haley,(Rachel's new kitty), before seeing another new president on a coin. About women on coins. I have no problem with this issue except recently. It seems that congress and the president feel that if you don't place the uglist woman in history on a new coin then you broke the 8th deadly sin. In America we have a million great artists who have the ability to create a beautiful coin. Congress should stay out of their field. You know the old adage.. -- A camel is nothing more than a race horse voted on by congress. catman

My oh my, history has a way of repeating itself! Lady Liberty changed from strong and attractive to ugly and chubby and everything in between! If Hillary ends up on a coin I'll just....share Terry's barf bag!!!!Mike

Mike old buddy you had better get ready to share that BAG as Hillary is already destined for gold! Well, if the Presidential dollar series and the First Spouse series gets off the ground and it seems most of Congress has made up their minds to produce them both. God, if you are by any chance reading this please hear my prayers! I would do just about anything if we could get this series trashed before it goes any farther! I will withdrawal my nomination for Susan's will, speak highly of Old Dan and promise never to run for political office or go to law school! Just please don't ask me to eat brocalli or asparagus! AMEN!

Wouldn't the vice president be more appropriate than a presidents wife? Abigail Adams, Sarah Polk, Anna Harrison are not big names in American History. What will the coins look like? Well the Library of congress has paintings of all the first ladies, and in the styles of the day. Many of the first ladies are quite beautiful. They carry a simple elegance and innocence of the times. http://www.presidentsusa.net/presvplist.htmlHere you can pick a president and then search down to select a picture of his wife. Thinking of LBJ's wife...was Ladybird really her first name? What was her parents thinking? LOL Nope her parents christened her "Claudia Alta Taylor"

Don't tell Hayley you want to put her on a coin, she's already quite full of herself as it is! I guess if we have to have these Presidential coins, I like the idea of the Vice Presidents on coins better than the First Ladies. Might be educational, I can't name a whole lot of Vice Presidents except for the most recent ones! Rachel [:p]

Gee Steve, I thought you were never going to ask this question. I would have to say two medals. This is because I find it hard to judge which is better, the Angle Foof Cake or the Zingers. So I guess she gets for her efforts. How's that for an answer?

Thanks Steve, it make me want to load up all these oxygen tanks and head to Vegas. I bet we could find something better than a banana to share. I could even return this old tom cat (Blacky) if he will let me catch him when I'm ready to go. Don't get too layed back, you never know, one of these days Doug and I may just show up on your door steps. Have a great day today and a better one tomorrow old friend!1
