There has been some talk of limiting the bidding on the silvers to members who have a copper. I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on this?

Hmm don't all of us already have a copper one? I'm fine either way. More competition means a higher price which is good for CCF.

Quote: There has been some talk of limiting the bidding on the silvers to members who have a copper. I don't see any reason for this. The release of the silvers for auction requires 10 coppers to be purchased either way, so I don't see what difference it makes who bids on the silver. CCF receives the same support and publicity. If anything, limiting bidding on the silver would decrease forum engagement in the end.

I have a copper, but it was a gift from you, so I am not sure if that should count or not. That being said, the limitation would reward someone who contributed to the goal for selling a silver. But I agree with the others, probably would sell for a lot less.

I've been meaning to put the medal in Numista. I'll get around to it eventually, unless someone else beats me!

If I had one then I'd volunteer to add it.

I just submitted the silver version for approval. Here's a little preview: And that's not a typo... mine weighs 31.2 grams. There also is no fineness marking on the edge, but I assume it is .999. Correct me if I'm wrong, nohope. Quote: I added my 2 coppers on it. I added mine, as well. @nohope - I wanted to add the copper mintage, but I found two numbers: 120 and 127. Which is correct (if either)? I didn't see the silver mintage ever mentioned.
