Hi Everyone!

I'm Juliet, currently living in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I've got a question about a Yugoslavian silver commemorative coin (images attached) that belongs to my mother-in-law.

It commemorates the Partizan victory at the Battle of Neretva (1943), but I have no idea when it was minted. Tito's appearance makes it look as though it comes from the 1960s, but this could be deceptive.

The coin has a diameter of 38.3mm, and is 2.4mm thick. It is also hallmarked.

If anyone knows anything about this coin (when it was minted, how many were made, what kind of value it might hold) I'd really love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Juliet

Is there anything written on the edge and can you provide a close up of the hallmarks to the left of 1943 please.

Thanks for your reply, rooneydog :) There's nothing written on the edge of the coin, and I'll try to get a better photo of the hallmarks as soon as possible so we can see what they are. Thanks again!
