Just purchased a 2011 silver proof set but without the COA. If anyone has one (from a broken apart set maybe) I'd be happy to buy it.

I don't have many silver proof sets yet, but was surprised to see the 2011 does not have writing on the plastic cases such as my 2008 one that states "United States Mint Silver Proof Set" When did they stop doing that?
Can I assume that San Francisco only made silver proof sets and did not make non-silver proof sets? So we can identify the silver proofs by the S mint mark?

The San Francisco mint has issued both "silver" and clad proof sets sense 1992. It also looks like that 2008 was the last year the casing had "United States Mint Silver Proof Set" printed on it. The newer casings do not mention silver set on the holders but they do allow viewing of the rims.

Thank you so much. I notice now the open space so we can see the rims. When you state that SF makes both silver and clad proof sets, I was really concerned that someone could take the clad sets and put them in the box that says "Silver Proof Set"
I just did an ebay search for 2011 clad proof sets and I notice that the color inside the casing is sorta orange while the silver proof sets are a black color. Is that another way to tell them apart? It is the same orange that the Presidental dollars is that came in the silver proof set. Thanks again.

I've moved this to a better-suited forum. It's perilously-close to a WTB, but there are issues of content as well so here it stays for the moment.
