Is there a good place to find info on errors in currency I was thinking about bidding on an ebay auction, but wanted to see if there was a good spot to look up the values of certain errors in currency?

You can try:

United States Paper Money Errors by Dr. Frederick Bart, 3rd edition.

As Jim suggests, based on my experience as well, an error book is the best either by Fred Bart or Stephen Sullivan.

There is no online comprehensive resource other than completed ebay auctions.
