Humans are so fickle they see a rise they all get excited and buy in when it is too high, then it drops to dream level and some people taking the wheel barrel full of German coins to leave in front of a collapsed bank post World war 2 Berlin, only to find the coins dumped and the wheel barrel stolen.... First off that silly metaphor is none sense as even post World war 2 Germany that coinage still had value and you see it trade for its dark history today on ebay more so then its limited silver content.... I was TRACKING 10 oz bars last night on ebay and funny thing is most still sell from generics as low as 260, but say you want a nice premium Engelhard, get ready to fork out 325..... So 32.50 per oz when silver spot is 21. Obviously if that 20 barrier gave way look out below and even those bad boys may drop to 200 a piece or something crazy, but fact is many still bidding left and right on the physical silver and not to worried about current spot..... I'm still laughing at all those people who said we were never gonna see $25/oz silver, or $30, or even $35. Because you never know what the market will do. And here's hoping it hits $19.

"And here's hoping it hits $19."
Yeah you and me both lol....
It looked like it was starting back up but tailed back off to plane out around 22.50 and 1375 so more false recovery....
I still think we may see sub yet....

I haven't bought since the major drop. I figure to be down @ $5.00 per ounce that I physically hold. I'm not really worried to much. I have a very good feeling it will recover. Especially with all the uses for silver in our every day products. I would like to see lower lows so that I can make a buy . $19.00 per ounce would be a buying opportunity for me.

Im for sure hoping that it stays this low or a bit lower and I get my finances back on track so I can get back into the game. Been killing me being sidelined. As for what I still have, I don't care where spot goes really. hope up by retirement in 30 years but I just like my silver too much to care about higher prices since I wouldn't become a seller of most of it anyways.

"Im for sure hoping that it stays this low or a bit lower and I get my finances back on track" U and me both brother, I have been on the sidelines as I switch around alot as I am a strange human to say the least as I am sure you all concluded long ago lol.... I buy vintage toys, then switch to Lionel train sets, back to pmz, back to 1:24 Nascar, etc. etc.... But funny thing as I always say I am no expert in anything but can carry my own in knowledge of many genres. Now that the years are adding up and I keep jumping around, I keep learning about new things and if I can find at X amount I know I can atleast be able to double my money etc., and its paying off as I can tag value on something pretty fast.... Problem with that is I get cold in areas and I am way cold on pmz, via whats hot and whats not.... I stick with my guns and its this simple on pm buys.... Old pours are way sought after give me a brick bar anyday, Engelhard, J&M etc., cant go wrong with that advice. Kooks are way sought after, always increase fast and real bargain at 26 each now as TBK turned me on to that info, but I have always felt the same about Kooks.... Those Canadian wildlife series is always safe bet... Anything that changes designs each year and continually changing it up is a good way to go.... Or if one really wanted to KISS (keep it simple stupid) I always advice a new green horn considering the investment this simple solid advice, STOCK PILE ASE or comm proof sets....

My LCS started out this free fall with $3 over spot for ASEs and Canada, then went to $4.50 and is now at $6 with no price break for any quantity. Generic is $4. So as silver falls their premium goes up. They are buying ASEs for $23.02 tho. They are selling pre 64 silver for 18.5 and paying 15

Bekz theres different prices for all of them. Some of those are harder to find commemoratives like the olympic ones and the ike one is always popular too. Some arent in great condition though which affects the price. The silver Ike dollar in the bottom right should be 10-12ish

Rough guess off the top of my head 20-30 for the beat up ones, 25-40 for the nice ones. Not sure if its the pictures but most of the proofs look impaired so Id probably try and stay in the 20s on them. If you just want their silver content youll want to be at about 20 or under as theres a little more than 7/10ths of an ounce in them if I remember right.
You being in japan throws a bit of a wrench into it since I'm guessing they arent everywhere there. Of course if you like any of them and want to have them over paying a little isn't the worst thing in the world

I agree there with the last thing Baseball said as in Japan they would be worth a bit more, via tougher to find....

Thank you guys. I don't think they would worth more in Japan, quite opposite ... :) So I listed them all as a lot for $300 on ebay ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/26121922267....m1555.l2649 ) So let's see how it goes through for that price )) P.S. will slash 15% OFF for the members of the PM section of CC forum
