I've been collecting Hacienda Tokens in the Jalisco region for years, and recently came across this:

Mexican-Hacienda-Token

Mexican-Hacienda-Token

Can anyone help me out in deciphering this one?

Wow, I was so surprised to see a thread about Mexico hacienda tokens, I couldn't believe it wasn't one of my old ones some how!

What is the history behind your token? (Not that I disagree, but what makes you so sure it is a Mexico hacienda token?)

Do I see an "8" and what looks like two branches of fruit on either side?
Rest in Peace

Very interesting! This is the first time I have read or maybe missed any information on a Hacienda token.
Harrison2 has been around with us at CCF and seems to know his stuff!
Hacienda, let us know.

Sadly it looks like Hacienda rode off into the sunset. At least he posted pictures!

Hey guys, I'm back from the sunset...
I believe it's from Mexico because it looks to be minted on top of a 1/8 Real Lead Token. It says Gurucica or Gukucica. It also says Villa de Tixkokob or Tiscocob which is in the Yucatan I believe. Do you guys specialize in Mexican hacienda tokens at all?
Rest in Peace

These are very cool. I don't know why I have a strong urge for Mexican tokens, but they're fun to study. Do you have any idea what these pieces are yet? Where did you find them?

Hacienda, again welcome back!
Nice token. Is ANO D_ meaning Anno Domini?
The year 1606? Could you give us any more information.
We can wait another couple of months for your reply.
