Sometimes I reply to posts or create new topics with questions. How do I know when someone answers them. Is there a notification page or something similiar?

There is Topic Subscription link right above the quick reply box. Or if you select Reply to Topic, you can check off the box below the text box that says "Check here to subscribe to this topic" That will e-mail you when there are responses Edited for accuracy.

I click the "My CCF" then click "My Topics". You then have immediate access to all your post!

When I first became a Mod, I did a lot of Subscribing to keep my eye on stuff that seemed like it might need attention at some point. I did an overnight trip once, and returned home to a rather....substantial number of emails (into three figures) just from Coin Community. That cured me of the habit.

The alternative, SsuperDdave and Pherooh and others, is to keep a running list of the EXACT title of a given topic. Then, use the 'search' function. Easy to say, but difficult to do. I, too, tried subscriptions and soon found myself overwhelmed. The My Topics solution lies somewhere in the middle.
That's the problem with the CCF: SO MUCH INFORMATION that keeping tract of it is a challenge.
A challenge that is WELL WORTH PURSUING!

Set the active topics page as your home page. This page shows all topics that have been updated since the last time you hit the button on the top left of the page. All topics that show there with a in the left column will be topics that you posted in. I go there first, then hold down the CTRL key and click on all the topics I want to read. They open in a new tab. Then I work backwards from the right until I'm back to the active topics page. Then hit the AR button. If any topics updated while I was reading they will appear.

How about a site called, "CCF for Dummies." Like me! Or better yet a site that explains the site with directions? Something to help all to navigate through.

The active topics part should. Surely even in a Mac you can also open as many topics as you like, from the active topics page, using some other way (I use a right click, open link in new tab option).
