It's definitely a keeper since it's a repeater. The only question is how bad the creases are?

what are the black spots on the note: are they really on the note - or are you blocking out those portions of the note?

all in all - cool serial number, and I would probably keep it. I really don't understand why any given cool serial number should command any premium price - seeing as they are a result of sequential numbering. just my opinion.

uh... we can see that the banknote is from boston, so the first digit of the serial number is an a. Also the last number of the serial appears to be a G or a C. Are those black spots on the note itself? Either way its a great find

What you have is referred to as fancy sn TYPES.

Type being the operative word meaning it's not the real thing.

A repeater would be 5282 5282...and a super repeater would be 5252 5252. Also circulated fancy sn's really do not have any or much premium attached unless it's a super repeater / super radar / ladder / low sn etc.

Some where down below one of the forum members did a nice / informative write up of the real fancy sn's.

Also IF anyone is willing to pay a premium plus postage...take the money and run...

IT is certainly not a repeater but I agree that if it were on ebay it would be listed as one... LOL

When I find notes like this I keep them (im a little crazy though) but as Ceylon said: If you get any premium over face after selling and shipping fees then you did good for a note like this...

Tigertrader,

I used to save these as well when I first started out looking for fancy sn's. Now a day I pass them out at face for payment etc or to buy notes.

Some of this dd can be easily done if one were to spend a wee bit of time searching the web. I have learnt quite a bit just by doing simple Google searches and reading etc.
