Hello - In a request for an Indian Head penny, a friend showed up with several. The one pictured below immediately caught my eye. The face looked like it was grimacing or something. I have attempted some images - please let me know what you think and if you need more images.

This one looks like it took a postmint hit in precisely the right place to make you go . Definitely PMD, but worth a thread on its' own simply because of the perfect location.

Question, though: What happens when you're not a newb any more?

Thanks for the reply! I sort of thought that was the case. I even remember reading somewhere that folks mutilated these coins due to displeasure with the design? That may be a daydream I had or something too...

I plan to be a newb for a very long time (at least as long as I have left!) That way I can keep on learning...
