This token (coin?) was found along the north shore of Lake Superior. Any thoughts.

Quarter-Sized-Token-Coin?

It is identical on both sides and has a reeded edge.

It is a token, both side the same generally signifies a arcade or purpose driven use token. Mainly the people that use them know what they are for! It does make it hard for historians and collectors to figure it out!

If it is 25mm or reasonably close it is most likely a pachinco token. They come with all types of designs and almost always are the same on both sides.
