My wife give me this note a while back. The note appears to have the reverse showing through the front. On the reverse, to the right of trust you can read (in reverse) letters from the front plate. Also on the reverse, Washington's coat has pressed through below "ONE." Hopefully the pictures are good enough. Is it an error?

Thanks, Freeman

This is a very minor FTB (Front to Back) wet ink transfer. No collector value for an error collector IMHO.

It's 50 years old and is only $1.

Hold on to it.

I'm sure the next time you get it out you will get $1 worth of happiness out of owning it vs. the dollar menu item you might go out and buy with it and years later wish you had not spent it.
