I found this 1925 looks like off center strike

Here's just some I thought were errors but once I scanned I saw nothing... I thought I had a 1918/7 D... dang it

I don't think it's a off center. When LIBERTY is worn to unreadable, the remaining raised crescent can make the obverse appear off center. The opposite rim looks normal. The 10:00-12:00 rim looks like PMD. The reverse looks centered.

Edited to add: maybe it is a slightly clipped planchet? (obverse 11:00-12:00, reverse 6:00-7:00)

What about the 1918? It needs some more acid, I need to wash it with water also.

I think the 1925 is just PMD. I was looking over it and the rim is still there. So therefore someone must have done that.

Here's one that I thought was funny, look at the 9 on the left.

Does the 9 seem larger?

I'm not seeing anything with the 1929 but the pictures are small. Take a look at it with good magnification and check it for DDO (the only notable variety for the 1929-P), reference here: http://blog.davidlawrence.com/index...ickels-1929/

The 1918 shows a variety of problems, perhaps some lamination, a die crack, but nothing that to me seems noteworthy or valuable. http://blog.davidlawrence.com/index...ickels-1918/

Here's another interesting resource which shows a variety of clashes. Many buffs have obverse clashes below the Indian's chin. http://maddieclashes.com/nickels.html

@ThisIsFun, thanks for the help! I need to look over 200+ buffalo's and roll them up. All acid restored 1913 type 2, all the way to 1919.
I have checked for three leg's, 2 feather, 1914 over 3, and 1918/7 D.

I can't get the pictures any bigger. My laptop would allow them to be like 5x times bigger then these.

Perhaps, I know the 1918 isn't worth more than a dollar but I still going to keep it, it's going in a 2x2 holder. I know you should never clean coins but I am going to clean it. Only soap and water though. If you use a cotton pick and dish soap, it works very well.

I don't think there is any possible error. It's just that the design is worn off. Nevertheless, you should consult coin dealers who maybe of a great help in giving you the right information.

Can someone tell me if this is a normal 1918 - D with PMD or something else?

I have acid restored the date...also some on the back for fun.

Should I put more acid?
