Yep. It's the lowest grade 3CN I own now. And, it's my favorite year...1875...scarce...scarce...scarce!!! To be honest, it's very difficult to find them this low grade without a ton of problems. I'd say there's some porosity (minor corrosion) around the date and in along the rim, but nothing I can't live with for the grade.

I'd go VG-8 on this coin. Too much detail is missing on the obverse. The leaves on the wreath appear worn flat, as well.

Although somewhat porous (but not horribly so when viewed in-hand) this coin would probably grade out as VG. [Take a look at the explanation on the other 1875 3CN thread.]

My initial thought after seeing this coin (and I very rarely have seen much less handled a lower grade one like this) was that based on ANA grading standards it's barely a G4. Once all characteristics are taken into account I'd say VG is fair, but I might price it as G6 because of some of the minor corrosion.

I think it's definately in the "G" feild. I'll go with a G-5
