huh, lookslike it could be one of those narrow dates which were bounded about in that other thread. What year oes it appear to be?

It's a 1876 for sure (I can see the tail of the 6 poking up). It just didn't turn out too well in the picture. I did look it up, but couldn't find much about the narrow/wide date varieties.

EDIT: Looks to be a narrow date. Not worth much but good to know :U
