The seller has modified his post and replaced the word 'Proof' with 'Uncirculated.' I guess that is Daves answer

Let me just get behind bullet proof glass...okay:

I like it. Call me crazy, but its shiny and gold plated to bring out detail and I like that. Find some way to matt it and id buy it.

Good thing you were behind the glass, otherwise I'd have to say something

Something that hasn't changed in coin collecting for decades: the word "LOOK" as a euphemism for "this coin has been unspeakably defiled, but if I don't actually describe it, maybe we can all just pretend everything's fine." All that's changed in my lifetime is the substitution of "@" for the O's. Still have a Trade dollar from an ill-advised auction purchase in the early 80's, the 2x2 it came in still bearing that magic word "LOOK." Can't bear to "look" at it.

I swear, I just about lost it completely here.

Haven't heard back from the seller; didn't expect to. I contacted him from my buying account anyway - even if he complains to ebay about it I can afford to lose that one.

Amazing. Compiling these type of listings would make for a great book. Call it "The Hucksters of ebay".

Just remember that for every idiotic seller, there are three idiotic buyers. Besides flea markets, ebay is the only place to sell coins that no one else wants.
