The 1973-s is not a particularly well-struck coin which I think is somewhat normal for that year and the 1974-s has a slight obverse MAD. How do these things affect the grading of coins and what would be the grade of both of these? Thank you for your time and opinions.

I am going with AU 58 on the 73S.It may be MS but it looks like it was at the bottom of a bag for several years .MS 63 on the 74 the back is dinged pretty good and looks like a weak strike on the face
