I don't think there's any valid reason the Coin Islands (Niue, Palau, Tuvalu, Tokelau and all the rest of those S Pacific microdots) should have a monopoly on
grinding out coins commemorating everything from the toothpick to Lassie's birthday.
I tip my hat to the Organization of East Caribbean States and I wish them the best with their coin-peddling efforts. I only hope they don't start cranking out a
few million more painted, rhinestone-encrusted pieces of overpriced grandma bait.
Gotta admit, though... I'm with Bekiz on these. I doubt I'll ever build up a serious collection of East Caribbean States coins.
