Hello all. I've recently acquired a very large coin collection and none of the coins themselves have tags on them. I've come across a few I've had no luck in identifying and would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me. Thank you.

The Second is much more fun. It's German Saxe-Weimar, 1608. The 8 brothers Thaler

I believe valdiman is correct about the first one, but I think its Mansfeld-Friedeburg, specifically, since Peter is the first name.

Here is a link to similar:

I just can't tell if your coin is 1/4, 1/2 or 1 Thaler (or, if you are extremely lucky, 4)

Hey guys, thanks so much for the replies. For some reason I wasn't getting the e-mail notification I usually get posting here. I have taken more pictures of the mansfeld coin. How would I tell how many Thalers it is? I don't see a number on this one. I took a few more pictures as good as I possibly could. Again, thanks a lot for the help. I've been doing as much as I can on my own but sometimes I hit a ro(130427) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed with these. I have a lot more coins to sift through and I will make sure to post more if I require more help, it's appreciated. Also, if these are identified properly, what can I expect price wise for the first two coins?

sirelothar, you probably have 1 Thaler. Sorry for raising the issue.
The catalogue value of both first coins is similar.
The link above ( http://www.muenzen-ritter.de/48300-...1599-ss.html ) should give you some estimation.
