In the early 1950s from 1950 to 1954 how were the proof set assembled?
I know that in the late 1950s they came in a flat pack with an envelope. What was it like earlier?

The early Proof Set coins were in individual cellos and stored on a small cardboard box while 1955 had both the box and flat pack types.

Here is a link to an ebay listing that shows two sets and how they were packaged.
