When I got back into coins 4 months ago I didn't expect to be attracted to any particular coin(s) never mind sets or subsets. I just wanted to let my eye lead me. For the most part my eye has lead me but down the path of sets and subsets and now the exhaustion of completing them

Of course the chase is fun when bidding on E-bay for them but not when you don't win it. And then the lesson of learning self control with the spending and saving for them.

Oh the joy of coin & currency collecting...

The bug has bitten you again. The fun part is always the hunt for that needed coin.

Yep here is a recent example of this bug. I was making a coin birth page for my 4 children (one each). I decided on getting the mint mark S, deep cameo for each type of coin made during that year. Well did that and then I said to myself the silver dime, quarter and 1/2 dollar with S mint marks are really nice as well. So set WAS done and now I'm off to complete this. Will the itching ever stop...

On those date sets... did you include the commemorative coins for those years as well? I think you still have some work to do!

@Doug, Unfortunately Yes. I have 2 of the 4 who were born in 2005 & 2009. So the Jefferson nickels and Lincoln Pennies were a find.
