'new' France Double Tournois - 1616 And Not 1636?

kuh_85 Pillar of the Community Canada 2366 Posts	Posted 06/05/2013 2:48 pm Poll Question This is my very first (New) France coin from this time period so I'm not very familiar with the fonts etc. I think ICCS gave this the wrong date and would like a second opinion. What do you think? This link shows a picture of a 1613 so you can see how both the 1 and the 3 digit look. I have seen a lot of ICCS typos. t_y has a couple of twoonies in ICCS flips, one certificate dated 1936 and another certificate dated 1906... But I must say I find it a bit of a toss up when I get an ICCS & a CCCS or an ICCS & a PCGS of the same coin at the same grade as to which one actually looks better in hand.
