I forgot to bid on two things...they went cheeeap.

Anyone having this happen to them a lot?

I hate that, and yes, that happens all the time. At least if they went at a high price I wouldn't feel bad, but the ones I miss out on seem to go cheap... grr.

I dont do auction sniping automatically...I reckon its unethical. Its more exciting when you do it in person and thats part of what I pay for.

I understand how you feel about the "excitement" of bidding in person, but personally, I snipe ALL my bidding. I follow the Ronco "Showtime" rule of thumb..."Set it and forget it"

LOL Same here Geoff. I bid as much as I could afford but was beaten by someone with deeper pockets.

Annoying as I was the only bidder for all but the last minute!
