Yesterday I purchased this paperweight with what appears to be some sort of medal which features a young Queen Victoria along with some Latin abbreviations, just like on some early British coins.
Despite extensive research, I have still been unable to find this exact medal.
If anyone can offer some help as to identifying this medal--it's age, origin, value, etc., I would love to hear from you! Thanks so much!

I have looked extensively too, unfortunately I have not come across a Jeton, medal, reckoning counter or any other Queen Victoria coin with the latin legend under her neck and that inludes Indian, Canadian etc. I came across a coin or two that had the Earring worn by Queen Victoria on the coin obverse but other than that nothing. Hope you find out as I would love to know :)

Thanks so much for trying so hard to help me out, tracyaw. A few minutes ago, I decided to take the bull by the horns! I noticed that the "medal" was loose on one edge, so I carefully pried and manipulated the piece until I extricated it from its base. To my surprise, it's not a medal at all--just a cast bust with three screws in the back which, in turn, were anchored by their heads into three small concrete-filled holes in the base to secure the piece. Here's a picture of the end product.(scratch marks are where I had to saw through the screws) Kind of disappointing, but at least now we know!
Thanks so much for your help!

Awe what a shame that it had nothing on the back, I was wondering what would be on the back. Ah well :)

Not a problem!--I needed a good, inexpensive paperweight anyway!
