I recently aquired these 2 Morgans from Tights24 in an exchange of gifts. We were both wondering what they would grade at. So if anyone can grade these for me, it would be appreciated. I hope the pics are good enough.

Hi Triggersmob,
Both coins look mint state to me. The 1890 might be a gem (MS65) candidate if it weren't for that fairly heavy, diagonal scratch high on Liberty's cheek. That might be enough to drop it to 63, but the overall appeal is better than an average 63. I'd compromise on MS64. The 1921 has a very nice strike, especially the obverse which looks a lot sharper than usual for a '21. The nicks on the cheek and in the fields along with those dark spots would unfortuately limit it to MS62, IMO.
Or, they could both be AU58 sliders with a trace of rub, passing as mint state. I've been fooled before!

The bottom left leaves and legs on the 1890 seem a little flat when considered against the relatively strong eagle's breast and neck; the cap details on the obverse seem a little flat in places.

Hard to tell. My guess is it's a weak-strike MS64.

The '21 is easier for me to believe MS.

Basically, I agree with Jaobler.

It's a trifecta...I also say 64, 62. I don't usually like the '21's but that looks like a needle-sharp strike.

The upper coin is MS-63+ while the bottom is about AU-50.
