I was going through all the coins I have saved over the past year. I came across this 1986-D Kennedy half. At first I thought it had some sort of acid damage on the obverse. But the edge and the reverse show no sign of acid damage. Also, the right side obverse shows more damage than the left.

Now for my question; did the damage to this coin happen at the Mint or is it post mint damage? I know it's probably post mint damage but it never hurts to check with the experts. Thanks in advance for the responses.
