Found this one in a 1000 count bag awhile ago. It still has quite a bit of cartwheel luster remaining. My guess is that it's nothing more than PMD to be honest. But it never hurts to get a few other opinions.

Sure looks like PMD to me. It doesn't have the "appearance" of any thing else, just my thoughts though. I am by no means an expert here. Still a high grade for a 46s.

Looks to me like an incomplete planchet. Not PMD. Nice find.

Note how the devices fade? If it were damage, then the "WE" would be strong then flattened. But it is fading. A sure sign of a clip.

Do you mind if I add your images to my image collection? They might appear in the next update of the DVD.

I don't mind at all Coop. I'm honored. Not too shabby for a $3 loupe held in front of a Sony cybershot 6.0 in macro mode with full zoom eh?

I took 50+ photos and ended up with these 8. Digital film is cheap, and I'm a patient man.

Cool! It's in great condition and from San Francisco. I've found that a lot of these older copper cent clips, even the small ones sometimes look very dramatic.
