Any Ideas.. I was cleaning out my shed and found my grandpa's stash that at the time I did not know anything about coins!

Its a bad scan on front but gives you an Idea!

Actually, only two of the coins pictured in the article are French. The one in question is indeed Spanish.

These coins are very commonly faked and sold as "pirate coins". I'm afraid we can't tell from your pics whether they're genuine or not.

This one isn't genuine. This one isn't, either.
