So I wanna upgrade to a new detector and I've been reading tons of reviews and still not sure what to buy. I'm in between the AT Pro and the coin master GT what are your thoughts or experiences on these machines Thanks.

I've owned Garrett and Whites, Coinmaster II and DFX. I didn't own the Garrett long before selling. The DFX was an expensive, bells-n-whistles machine that was good for shallow coins and jewelry, and I really don't care for visual numerical identification of targets.
I can't recommend either machines, as I now own Minelab Explorer, no going back. A used one will run around $500-$700 or so, with great resale value. The only negative I have, is that they are a bit heavy, and not that great on tiny gold items.
