Thats right, 2013 is here, I've finally got my first 2013 dated coin (but I did see a tube £2 earlier in the year).

What have you found? I have found a 10 pence. Did obtain both the London Underground coins earlier this year in a trade.

Also a 10p. Perhaps thats all thats been released. this ones pretty bad for a fresh coin but clearly not long in circulation.

A friend in County Durham found a 10p the other day. I had a Tube train £2 2 weeks ago.

I got my first 2013 coin this morning , funny enough like most people here it was a shiny 10p  I get the feeling they are pushing out a lot of 2013 10p coins into circulation   |

I've not been looking but, on reading this thread I put my hand in my pocket. Result, 2 x 10p 2013. Wonder how many I've missed.

Looking for 2013 1 p's for a fellow members upcoming offsprings wedding I was offered £30 of 2013 10 pences by my friendly local bank manager which I declined on this occasion. All the staff in one well known bank in my area had been on the look out for 2013 coins and the first and only that have surfaced so far have been 10 pences.

Since looking at my pocket change the other day I'm now paying more attention. So today when I received a few "coppers" I was glad to see that they were all mint red and Unc, except none of them are new. 2002, 2005, 2008 x 2p.2008, 2010, 2011 x 1p. This was from 2 departments of the same shop, so are there mixed bags of new coinage out there or is it just a coincidence?

I saw a whole load at a local supermarket in the tray. I didnt bother asking though, perhaps I should.
