Don't know if anyone posted the story when they were originally unearthed but one year on it makes a facinating update. Can't wait for the recovery and restoration stage.

Here be ye olde threadde about the discovery.

One year on and they still haven't made a finding regarding ownership. I can see why Britain revamped its Treasure Trove laws in 1996.

I've followed this story this as well. It seems as if things in the U.K. go as smoothly as here in the U.S., perhaps we'll know something on ownership by 2016 or so. I'm sure it will be in courts for years sadly.
