Nice change to the 2nd Dino. Motion/action is what makes these types of coins come alive!

Not sure about an average price but http://store.albern.com / gateway ? have them for $139 I believe plus taxes and shipping, so $160 plus? ebay seem to have alot of BIN for $139 and there are a few auctions running atm, not sure where they will end up at. I can see it heading up even higher once the 3rd one gets out there.

Curious myself as I have 3. Looks like over $100 on ebay. The second one is not doing too well, but I think it will perk up a bit once the third one comes out in July. Would be nice if the Mint reduces the mintage back to the first coin's mintage or less. Wishful thinking?

Ya Wishful thinking, it is not going to happen, I am not sure I want the first one bad enough to pay $140 plus for one but then again it would be cool in my display case to have all 3 lit up when I walk by in the middle of the night going to the bathroom or a midnight fridge run etc... btw... just how long does the gtd last? all night?

Yeah, but $140 might be not so bad after the 3rd and 4th coin?

I like the 3rd better than the first two. More action-packed. Wouldn't be surprised if the 3rd Dino does just as well as the first value-wise.

Quote: I'll be getting 3 for sure. Anybody know how long this series will be? The description of the first GITD Dino contained the following: New Series! The Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai dinosaur coin is the first in a 4-coin Prehistoric Creature glow-in-the-dark (photo-luminescent) series! So, unless something changes, it will be four. However, when the $4 silver 'Giants of Prehistory Series' came out in 2007, it was also supposed to be a four coin series but when the third coin came out, the Mint added the following to expand the series. "NOTE: By popular demand, this 4-coin collection is being expanded to include an exciting fifth coin scheduled to launch in the Fall of 2010."

If anyone wants to order now, check with your local post office. Apparently the limit for the Dino per outlet is 5. Orders will be placed on Tuesday, June 25th and processed on July 9th (by CP). Of course, Ithat could change... got my order in for 3! Cool coin!
